Welcome to PayMates. By using this application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the application.

1. Service Provider

The PayMates application is provided by InnewSolutions, reachable at support@innewsolutions.one.

2. Description of Service

PayMates is a shared expense management application that allows users to:

• Create and manage expense groups
• Record shared expenses among group members
• Calculate balances and settlements between participants
• Invite other users to groups
• Communicate through comments on expenses and groups

3. Registration and Account

To use PayMates, you must create an account with a valid email address. The user is responsible for:

• Providing truthful and up-to-date information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials
• All activities carried out on their account

Users may authenticate via email and password or through Google authentication.

4. Acceptable Use

By using PayMates, the user agrees to:

• Not use the application for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts
• Not interfere with the operation of the application
• Not submit offensive, defamatory or illegal content
• Respect the rights of other users

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the PayMates application, including design, logos, code and content, belong to InnewSolutions. Reproduction, distribution or modification without prior authorization is prohibited.

6. Data and Privacy

The processing of users' personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the application, the user consents to the collection and processing of data as described in that policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the application available continuously. However, we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates.

8. Limitation of Liability

PayMates is provided "as is". InnewSolutions is not responsible for:

• Losses or damages resulting from the use of the application
• Errors in expense calculations or settlements caused by incorrect data entry
• Temporary unavailability of the service
• Actions by third parties that compromise the security of the user's account

9. Account Termination

Users may request the termination of their account at any time by contacting support@innewsolutions.one. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Changes will be published on this page. Continued use of the application after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in Portugal.
